May 1st is the final day to apply for the 2025-2026 Utah Fits All Scholarship Program. If you haven't yet completed the application for your students, we strongly recommend doing so now.
Here are some resources and information to help you navigate the process.
📅 Important UFA Scholarship Dates & Deadlines
➡️ May 1: Application portal closes for all applicants (new and renewal)
➡️ May 15: ACE Scholarships final day as Program Manager
➡️ May 16: Newly selected Program Manager assumes implementation of the scholarship program
➡️ Within 30 days after the portal closes: Scholarship awards will be announced for the 2025-2026 academic year
➡️ May 31: Portfolio or assessment must be submitted for the 2024-2025 scholarship year by all renewal students. Go HERE for Program Manager instructions
➡️ July 1: Effective date for the 2025-2026 scholarship
UFA Application Resources & Recommendations
Review our UFA Application Slideshow in our FAQ, Utah Fits All Application Slideshow for New Applicants. This slideshow followed a new applicant parent who selected Tax Commission Income Verification and set up a TAP account.
Follow these two very important recommendations in the slideshow:
1. Select how you plan to use the scholarship from one of two options: Scholarship amounts will be determined based on your selection. There are currently six options presented. Only two are valid and in alignment with the law.
- Choose the one that represents the way you will use the scholarship next year
- Private School
- Full-Time Home School
2. Select Utah Tax Commission from the three options when presented with the screen, Income Verification Type
- The law according to H.B. 455 requires all new applicants, including siblings, to have their income verified through the Utah Tax Commission. This requires a TAP account. We recommend all new applicants set up a TAP account
- 2024 Income Taxes are required
- The Tax Commission cannot verify your income without your permission granted through TAP
- Those participating in DWS services will be identified during the application process and no further income verification will be required from them
- For unique filing circumstances, we recommend contacting the Program Manager, ACE Scholarships, directly with your questions
In review, we highly recommend the following steps for new applicants:
- Get your 2024 taxes filed prior to applying
- Review the application slideshow resource
- Do not skip Income Verification
- Do not skip the Tax Commission
- Select Utah Tax Commission for Income Verification Type
- Set up a TAP Account (Review the TAP requirements ahead of the application process and be prepared)
- If you already filled out the application but did not select the Tax Commission option and your income verification is stuck and/or incomplete, we recommend you call ACE Customer Service to have them manually reset your application account to allow you to select the Utah Tax Commission and to set up a TAP account to verify your income

✅ If you have gone through the online application process and have questions or concerns or are still awaiting direction, we recommend you contact the current Program Manager, ACE Scholarships. If they cannot answer your questions satisfactorily, contact their contract holder, the Utah State Board of Education.
