We welcome that scrutiny. The legislative report and independent procedures engagement together provide a clear, verified picture of how Utah families are directing these resources to meet their children’s educational needs, and confirm fidelity to allowable expenses under the law.”   “The 2025–2026 report shows both the program’s significant reach and its disciplined use. More than 14,500 Utah students accessed Utah Fits All scholarship funds during the program year, with approximately $57 million directed to private-school tuition and fees, $27 million to educational goods, and more than $10.6 million to educational services. These dollars supported a wide range of approved educational needs, including tuition, curriculum, supplies, technology, tutoring, educational therapies, and other qualifying services. The data also reflect the additional spending restrictions Utah lawmakers enacted for the 2025–2026 program year.   “The independent procedures engagement reinforces confidence in the program’s integrity by testing and affirming adherence to allowable expense requirements. Combined with the legislative reporting, this independent review delivers an important layer of transparency and accountability. Just as importantly, the spending data demonstrate that Utah families are actively and appropriately directing scholarship dollars toward the educational options and resources they believe best fit their children.   “We appreciate the Legislature’s continued oversight and the families across the state who are using Utah Fits All to pursue an education that works best for their children.
