Congratulations to all those families!   **The bad news** is that over **8,800 are still on the waitlist** and feeling the sting of not having their status change from Eligible to Approved. While additional scholarships are set to be awarded by August, the vast majority on the waitlist will not receive one this year.     | | --- | | ## **📈 Utah Fits All Is Working. Now Let's Grow It!** **🎯 Our #1 Goal is MORE FUNDING for the Utah Fits All Scholarship!** - **👉** UEFA’s goal for the 2027 legislative session is to secure additional funding to clear the waitlist and allow more students the opportunity to find their education fit! - **👉 We will not be advocating for or supporting another UFA clean up bill in 2027**. The law has gone through numerous and substantial changes over the last couple years. **It is time for stability and growth**. The Utah Fits All Scholarship has a **current appropriation of $120 million**. Now going into its third year of operation, it has achieved stability and is in high demand among Utah families. Satisfaction is extremely high, with a **90% returning student rate**.   This year there were **27,561 applicants**. Approximately 20,000 will be awarded for 2026-2027. This means around **7,500 will not receive the scholarship** — That’s 7,500 children who will miss out on the opportunities Utah Fits All provides.     ## **🗣️ What’s Next? Advocacy from You ➡︎ Our UEFA Community!** 🤝 **The UEFA Community is 37,500 Utah parents strong**! We are already a powerful coalition united behind a common goal—to protect and grow the Utah Fits All Scholarship Program. In future months we will begin our campaign to advocate for increased program funding from the legislature. **Please stay tuned**. When the time is right, we will help guide you through the steps to contact your Utah State Representative and Senator.   📢 Thank you in advance to all the parents who are willing to let their voices be heard. We couldn’t do it without you! Together we can ensure an education where the family takes center stage, allowing parents to customize options that align better with their values, expectations, and their children’s unique needs!     ## **✨The Utah Fits All Scholarship is Changing Lives!** Join with us in celebrating and recognizing the agency of parents in their children’s education! These heartfelt and often vulnerable accounts cut through the noise and present the realities of how life changing the opportunity of education choice can be for a child’s well-being, love of learning, confidence, and future success.     | | --- | | [![](https://info.utaheducationfitsall.org/hs-fs/hubfs/UEFA%20Email%20Buttons-Jun-18-2026-11-29-47-5171-PM.png?upscale=true&upscale=true&width=560&name=UEFA%20Email%20Buttons-Jun-18-2026-11-29-47-5171-PM.png)](https://www.utaheducationfitsall.org/families-share-their-stories/?utm_source=hs_email&utm_medium=email&_hsenc=p2ANqtz-9vfOQgylIUb7Q5DnmogjvK5dplXXKmlocvpFMJbwiMuPHA_XeHvuesnI6VBPBhl_ecEX19) | | --- | ## Share this post [mailto:https%3A%2F%2Finfo.utaheducationfitsall.org%2Farchive%2Four-2027-legislative-goal-more-funding-for-utah-fits-all](mailto:https%3A%2F%2Finfo.utaheducationfitsall.org%2Farchive%2Four-2027-legislative-goal-more-funding-for-utah-fits-all) ## Keep reading ### [advocate support 🇺🇸 Wishing Our UEFA Community a Happy Fourth of July](https://info.utaheducationfitsall.org/archive/wishing-our-uefa-community-a-happy-fourth-of-july) ### [advocate support press release 27,561 Students Apply for Utah Fits All Scholarships for the 2026/2027 School Year](https://info.utaheducationfitsall.org/archive/uefa-sends-press-release-27561-students-apply-for-utah-fits-all) Utah Education Fits All (UEFA) is a grassroots, non-profit advocacy organization and is not the Program Manager for the Utah Fits All Scholarship. --- [Privacy Policy](https://www.utaheducationfitsall.org/privacy-policy/) · © UEFA 2025.
