Today is the first day of the 2025 Utah Legislative Session! We will be sending out multiple Calls To Action to you, our UEFA Community, during the course of the session related to the Utah Fits All law and increased funding. When we need your voice, we hope you will answer our call!
Let’s start this session off strong by telling your Senator and Representative just how important the Utah Fits All Scholarship Program is to you and your family. If you have the scholarship, share your personal story. If you are hoping to receive the scholarship, share the reasons why. Most importantly, thank them for representing you and ask for their support this session to protect the program and increase the funding so that more Utah families will have the freedom and access to choose the best fit for their child’s education!

The 2025 Utah Legislative Session Starts Today!
We’re off to a good start for the upcoming legislative session that begins today with some positive news to share!!
Expansion to the Utah Fits All Scholarship Program is listed among the priorities for the Utah House of Representatives Majority Caucus! This is a very big deal! Here’s what they shared on their published list of priorities under Education: “More individualized education choices for students and parents means more students have the opportunity to learn and succeed the way that works best for them. Last year, the number of Utah Fits All Scholarship applicants far exceeded the number of available spots. This year we will continue to expand opportunities for students to learn in a way that fits their individual needs.”

We’ve Got Work To Do! We Will Need Your Voice!
Even though this expressed support points us in the right direction, we still have plenty of work to do in terms of advocating for the expansion and protection of the program.
The Utah Fits All Scholarship Program will need our advocacy and attention in two critical ways:
- Funding: A request for a significant increase in the program appropriation to fund more families!
- Legislation: The sponsors are running a Utah Fits All bill that will amend the code with adjustments to certain aspects of the law.
At UEFA we will be doing everything in our power to advocate for families and protect the integrity of the program. Together, with your help and outreach to your legislators, we can accomplish great things. Remember, last year we were able to increase funding from $40 million to $80 million because thousands of you let your voices be heard!
Come Advocate for Utah Fits All At Our Celebration — A Fit For All Families
Let’s kick off the legislative session by coming together as a community at our upcoming Event. It’s another key way to show your support for the Utah Fits All Program. We need you and your family there to help us demonstrate to our lawmakers that parents have the momentum and energy to advocate for their children in 2025. Together we are driving monumental change in education!

We’ve given away over 800 tickets so far! But, we can’t stop there. We need this celebration to be the biggest, baddest celebration for choice in education that our policymakers have ever seen! Show your support for the program. Grab your family and friends and join us this Saturday!
