Utah Fits All Triples in Size Since Year One. 21,186 Students Awarded in 2026–2027 School Year

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah—Robyn Bagley, Executive Director of Utah Education Fits All (UEFA), issued the following statement after Odyssey completed yesterday’s waitlist draw, awarding 2,893 additional Utah Fits All Scholarships for the 2026–2027 school year.

“Today, nearly 2,900 more Utah students moved from a waitlist to an education that fits. Each scholarship gives a family greater freedom to choose a learning environment aligned with their expectations, values, and their child’s unique needs. With this draw, the Utah Fits All Scholarship Program will serve 21,186 students this school year. In just three short years, the program has tripled in size. It’s a remarkable milestone that reflects Utah parents’ strong and continued demand for education options.”

The draw distributed the final $12.8 million balance in the Utah Fits all account. It awarded all remaining students in Preference Level 3—families at or below 300% of the federal poverty level—and over 1,400 students in Preference Level 4, selected by lottery.

Robyn added, “We are grateful to Utah lawmakers for their continued commitment and investment in students and families. At the same time, nearly 5,000 students remain on the waitlist. Utah Education Fits All will continue advocating alongside Utah families for increased funding to ensure that every child who is waiting has the opportunity to find the education that fits them best.”
