A Fit for All Families Celebration

Our community continues to make a meaningful impact. Recently, families and stakeholders gathered at an event to celebrate the Utah Fits All Scholarship, and the energy in the room was both inspiring and hopeful. The event featured a keynote address from Attorney General Derek Brown, underscoring the significance of this program for families across our state. Families shared their personal scholarship stories and students wowed us with their talent. We’re proud to share media coverage and photos that capture the spirit of the evening and the families at the heart of this important work.

💝 Your “thank you for my fit” postcards to the legislature were hand delivered by UEFA. It was heartwarming to see so many expressions of gratitude not only from parents, but so many UFA students as well.

Utah Fits All Program HB467 Updates

Decisions at the Capitol matter, and we are here to keep you informed. We are closely following HB467 Utah Fits All Scholarship Program Modifications sponsored by Representative Candice Pierucci.

 

Here are the latest updates as the bill moves through the legislative process.

 

📃 Bill Substituted by Sponsor in House Rules Committee on 2/9/26

  • HB467 Substitute #1
  • The substitute restores the ability for scholarship recipients to use remaining funds for qualifying education expenses after private school tuition is paid. Under this language, students attending private schools will not be restricted to using scholarship funds solely for tuition. That limitation has been removed.

  • The bill is currently scheduled to be heard in committee on Tuesday, February 18, 8:00 am.

2026-2027 UFA Scholarship Application Timeline

Utah Fits All is growing and we’re here for it! The scholarship program will receive an additional $20 million in funding for the 2026-2027 school year — bringing the total appropriation to $120M. This will provide scholarships for approximately 5000 additional new students.

Important Utah Fits All Scholarship dates are approaching, and staying informed can make all the difference. Whether you will be renewing your child’s scholarship, applying for siblings, or applying for the first time — Prepare now!

Mark the dates in your calendar and review the available information so you can feel confident and prepared. We will continue to provide reminders and information as it becomes available.

The UEFA Fair is returning to BYU in the Spring!

Spring is when families are making plans for the year ahead and evaluating the educational options available to their children. To support you in that process, our Spring Provider Fair is returning to the BYU Conference Center. Our fairs bring a diverse variety of trusted educational providers directly to families who are actively exploring programs, services, and resources for the upcoming school year.
