UEFA Town Hall Replay: Key Scholarship Updates & Big Announcements

UEFA Virtual Town Hall Recording is Live!
If you missed our Virtual Town Hall with Odyssey Wednesday evening, don’t worry! We’ve already got the recording posted and up on our website!
Some VERY BIG ANNOUNCEMENTS were made during our UEFA Town Hall last night! Our goal was to provide families with guiding information and answer key questions that are timely and relevant right now — to that end, we were successful!
Here’s What We Covered:
✅ Key Dates & Timelines
✅ Applications & Awards
✅ Account Activation
✅ Private School Eligibility
✅ Use of Remaining Scholarship Balance
✅ Reimbursements
✅ Marketplace
✅ Odyssey Platform & Accounts
✅ Expense Caps
✅ Appeals Process
Big News Highlights!
➡️ Parents can choose private school on the application and receive the full $8000 scholarship to be reimbursed for select schools NOT listed on Odyssey’s eligible school platform — the two schools announced by Odyssey so far are Challenger & Waterford.
➡️ Renewal students with a 2024-2025 scholarship balance will be given an extended period of time between August 21 to October 21 to spend their remaining balance either through reimbursement or the marketplace. If any balance is remaining after October 21, it will be rolled over 2:1 up to $2000 in accordance with the Utah Fits All law.
➡️ TBD — A decision has not yet been made for the use of remaining funds for non-returning students. Odyssey is still working on that.
➡️ Reimbursement will be allowed for eligible services from providers such as tutors, piano teachers, etc., not in the marketplace. These service providers will not be required to provide an EIN, business license, or any of the other requirements needed to be listed in the marketplace.
The best way to get a full account of all the information shared is to watch the recorded webinar. We encourage everyone to take the time to tune in and hear directly from Odyssey CEO, Joe Connor, who answered and addressed the most pressing questions parents have right now.

This year, we're raising the bar even higher — with more vendors, more resources, and more opportunities for families to connect, explore, and customize their children’s education.
